La Guardiense

The Farming Cooperative La Guardiense, among the biggest wine companies in Italy, plays a relevant role in the italian wine industry. It is situated in Guardia Sanframondi, a small village in Benevento county in Southern Italy.

It was founded in 1960 thanks to the proud initiative of 33 associates and today is the symbol and the economical propeller of the whole Benevento province. A mix of ancient grape-growing art and technologies able to reach always wider national and international market targets.

La Guardiense today counts about 1.000 associates cultivating grapes on about 2.000 hectares of hilly land with an average height of 350 meters asl. The grapes are transformed by La Guardiense in wines and sparkling wines of a superior quality.
