Description
A still white wine from Etna, Sicily, 13% ABV, produced by Tenuta delle Terre Nere. 100% Carricante, 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born on the slopes of Etna, from vineyards stretching between 600 and 750 meters above sea level, where the volcanic soil and unique climate give the Carricante an extraordinary minerality and complexity. Vinification involves soft pressing and low-temperature fermentation in steel tanks to best preserve the varietal's aromas. The result is a pale straw yellow wine with a complex bouquet reminiscent of lime blossoms. On the palate, it is intense, fresh, savory, and ample, reminiscent of fresh fruit and citrus, with a good finish.
