Description
Still organic white wine from Etna DOC, 12.5% ABV, produced by Tenuta delle Terre Nere. 100% Carricante. 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born on the volcanic slopes of Etna, in the Santo Spirito district, where the lava soil and altitude give the Carricante a unique minerality. Traditional white wine vinification with brief cold maceration, soft pressing, and alcoholic fermentation in 5 and 10 hl French oak barrels. Aged in barrel for 10 months and then in bottle for 8 months. Complex, with floral and spicy notes that blend into an elegant bouquet. The color is straw yellow with golden reflections. Intense and rich, yet at the same time very fresh and savory, a wine that perfectly expresses the volcanic terroir.
