Description
Still organic red wine from Chianti Classico, 14.5% ABV, produced by Fattoria San Giusto in Rentennano. Blend: 97% Sangiovese, 3% Canaiolo Nero. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Chianti Classico Riserva that tells the story of an ancient Cistercian monastery, now a highly prestigious winery. Fermentation and maceration take place in concrete and steel tanks for approximately 18-20 days. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels and vats for a period that varies, depending on the wine's characteristics, from 16 to 20 months. After bottling, it ages in bottle for approximately 6 months. Intense and profound aromas of graphite and humus, flint, cherry, tobacco, juniper, and nutmeg. Garnet nuances hint at the wine's complexity. Powerful on the palate, with integrated tannins and a brilliant freshness. A long finish with smoky notes.
