Still red from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, 100% Nebbiolo, produced by Roagna. 0.75 L bottle, 2018 vintage. A Pajè Vecchie Viti Barbaresco born from the passion of a historic winery, aiming to best express the potential of the terroir. The true heritage of the Roagna family's vineyards are the old vines. Plants at least 50 years old, some reaching 80 years old. Fermentation in wood. Aged in wood for 18 months. Pure and engaging nose, red fruit, mentholated and rooty notes, ripe blackberry, sweet licorice, and balsamic hints. Responsive palate, with refined tannins and a long, savory finish.
