Description
Still red from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, produced by Prunotto. Blend: 50% Barbera, 50% Syrah. 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine born from the Antinori family's passion for the Langhe region, with Prunotto located in Alba, equidistant from Barbaresco and Barolo. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, with maceration lasting approximately 7 days at 28-30°C. Aged for approximately 12 months after malolactic fermentation. The nose is rich in fruit: hints of plum and cherry combine with notes of violet, spice, and coffee. Deep ruby red with purple highlights. On the palate, it is enveloping, rich in soft, elegant, and persistent tannins.
