Description
Still red wine from Piedmont, 13.5% ABV, produced by Prunotto. 100% Dolcetto, 2024 vintage. A Dolcetto d'Alba that embodies the Piedmontese winemaking tradition, produced by a historic winery with long experience in the area. Prunotto is located in Alba, the most important town in the Langhe. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed and pressed. Fermentation took place over 6 days at a maximum temperature of 27-28 degrees C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter. After aging for approximately 6 months, the wine was bottled. The nose is vinous, with fresh hints of violet and cherry. Ruby red with purple highlights. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, with excellent typicality and an elegant almond finish.
