Wine-growing has a long tradition in Nalles, and can be dated back to the Roman times where it was known due to its position along the trade route: Via Appia.

Climate The Mediterranean climate is characterised by hot summers and mild winters, as well as by the Ora, a warm afternoon wind blowing from the south, arriving from Lake Garda. Altitude: 220-350 m a.s.l. Exposure: South/South-East.
Soil composition The white calcareous gravel soil has a high humus content.
Harvest The grapes are harvested by hand.
Wine making The clarified must ferments for about 3 weeks in 30 hl wooden barrels.
Aging The new wine then matures for a further 8 months on fine lees.
