Description
Still white wine from Alto Adige DOC, 13.5% ABV, 100% Pinot Bianco, produced by Muri Gries. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A Pinot Bianco born from the passion of the Benedictine monks of Gries, with a history dating back to 1845. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel for one week, aged in stainless steel and 20% in large barrels (30 hl) for 5 months. The nose seduces with an intense and multifaceted aroma of ripe apples, an exotic touch of citrus, a light hint of hazelnut and spicy notes of white pepper. Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the palate it is full and robust, elegant and characterful, creamy, savory and mineral. A harmonious and inviting wine with a lingering, juicy and fresh finish. Serve with cheese dumplings, seafood and grilled trout.
