Description
Peng, Venezia Giulia IGT, 14.5% ABV, produced by Modeano in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. 0.75 L bottle, 2019 vintage. A red wine made in the heart of the Friulian Riviera, from Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes. It presents a rich bouquet of red fruit alongside leather and earth with hints of balsamic and walnut. Intense, brilliant ruby red, tending towards purple. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and enveloping, with dense, compact tannins. A long, aromatically rich finish with remarkable balance. A wine that expresses the excellence of the Friulian terroir, ideal for pairing with red meats and aged cheeses.
