Description

Still white wine from Puglia, 13% ABV, produced by Menhir Salento. 100% Fiano, 2022 vintage. A Fiano that expresses the elegance and minerality of Salento, with a complex and captivating aromatic profile. Accents of great elegance, hints of tangerine and grapefruit peel, almonds, and aromatic herbs such as thyme and rosemary, with a hint of white pepper on the finish. Bright straw yellow. A beautifully rounded sip where the previously perceived aromas are evident, a crisp freshness well-balanced by a measured softness. Perfect with fish and shellfish dishes.

Roots and contamination: with these words we would like to tell you the story of Menhir, a winery and farm based between Bagnolo del Salento and Palmariggi, in that corner between land and sea that embraces Maglie and Otranto, in the heart of Terra d'Otranto in Apulia.

The Marangelli family and company founder Gaetano are daily committed to enhancing the magnificent territory, working to tell the world about the taste, history, and identity of this land.

Terra d'Otranto is both a Denomination of Controlled Origin and the toponym of a land of stones that become myths, stones that have shaped its history and identity and that today are the fulcrum of a project to be handed down to future generations. Our project.

It is with great pleasure that we announce that our:

- N° Zero Negroamaro 22

received the Quality Price Award in Gambero Rosso's Berebene 2024, a guide dedicated to the best Italian wines within 20 euros.
