A wine that expresses the elegance and complexity of the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir, with a winemaking process that enhances its characteristics. The nose reveals elegant and fruity aromas of small red berries, currants, raspberries, and wild strawberries. The color is ruby red. On the palate, it is very refined, enveloping, and well-structured, with ripe, silky tannins and a pleasant freshness. A lingering finish.

Undeniably, the work of building up a profitable wine business was shouldered prematurely by youg Pierre who, before his death in 1871, had a son François, born in 1848, who eventually took over the vineyard.
Afterwards came François'son François-Joseph, know by Joseph, who was succeded by Emilie, father of Claude the present owner. In 1983, the property grew to include an 18 th century winegrower's house located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin.
Since 1999, Denis, Claude's second son, has taken over from his father. Read more
