Description
Still red from Piedmont, 15% ABV, produced by Marcello Brunetti. 100% Syrah. 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Langhe Rosso born from the collaboration between friends, a modern wine that expresses a love for the Langhe region and this grape variety. The harvest was done by hand on the morning of September 26, 2020. Light pressing by foot, leaving the bunch whole with its stalk. Aged without any further intervention, without the addition of oenological products or sulfites, without filtration or fining. On the nose, intense fruity aromas of blackberry and plum combine with vegetal notes of olive and spicy notes of clove and pepper. A very compact and dense purplish-red color. On the palate, it is intense, warm, very soft, with sweet and smooth tannins.

Before him, the grapes produced had always been sold to important names, while since he joined the company, the winemaking of the grapes started on his own. Out of friendship with Marcello Brunetti, after Marcello saw the release of a couple of vintages of his Langhe Rosso made from a portion of a vineyard planted with Syrah, the idea of this collaboration was born, to try winemaking in a different way.
Marco's Syrah-based Langhe Rosso is a modern wine, very successful in the area for its particular taste and contemporary approach. Marcello's wine, on the other hand, is a combination of his passion for old-fashioned wines, the Langa territory, and this grape variety he loves. Read more
