Description
Still red Riserva, 14% ABV, produced by Inama in the Berici Hills, Veneto. 100% Carmènere, 2018 vintage. A wine that embodies the history of a family that has been making wine for over fifty years, with a deep knowledge of the terroir. Aged for 18 months in new and pre-owned barriques. An extemporaneous nose with delicate notes of blackcurrant, dried grass, blueberry juice, woodsy notes of berries and mountain pine needles, followed by black peppercorns and plenty of cumin on hints of tar. Dark ruby in the glass. Superb on the palate, elegant, with excellent balance of components, it envelops the palate in dense, velvety tannins. A long, spicy and fruity finish with a savory aftertaste.
