Description
Organic still red from Chile, 14.5% ABV, 85% Cabernet Franc, 15% Carménère. Produced by Haras De Pirque (Antinori) in the Maipo Valley. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine that combines Chilean passion with Italian expertise, a tribute to the terroir and its richness. The four separate vineyards of the Cabernet Franc and Carménère vineyards were fermented separately in stainless steel and French oak tanks. The pre-fermentation cold maceration lasts three to five days and aims to fully enhance the aromatic components of the grapes. Aged in French oak barriques for fourteen months. Ruby red with violet reflections, notes of berries such as blueberry and raspberry on the nose. The palate is supple and elegant, fresh and mineral.

The collaboration between Haras de Pirque, a producer of excellence in the area, and Marchesi Antinori stems from the desire to 'explore' the potential of Chile. Furthermore, the conviction that the Andean wine-growing area of Chile represents a natural habitat for Sauvignon led Marchesi Antinori to start a specific project to produce this extraordinary variety, resulting in the Albaclara wine. Read more
