Description
Still white wine from Tuscany, 13% ABV, produced by Gualdo del Re. 100% Vermentino, 2022 vintage. A Vermentino that embodies the essence of the Maremma, with an aromatic expression that reflects the sun and sea breeze. Pre-fermentation cold maceration of the grapes, followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged in stainless steel tanks with periodic batonnage for 9 months. In bottle: at least 9 months before release. Variegated, characterized by notes of yellow flowers and fruity notes of peach and citrus. Bright straw-yellow color. Rich and complex, with good flavor and freshness, with a long finish.

The transition occurred whilst continuing along the path of excellence undertaken by Barbara Tamburini who, in the meantime, has become one of the most famous and recognised enologists in Italy and abroad.
The new business development program includes the restoration of some vineyards and the purchase of new plots. The recently acquired plots would be planted with massal selections of traditional varieties that resulted from extensive studies and analysis.
At the same time, modernization was organized for Il Ristorante, Il Casale and, especially, the Cellar, whose technical unit would be employed for a wider vineyard rationalization. Read more
