Description

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane Scotch Whisky, from Scotland. A whisky from the Experimental Series, a bold exploration of single malts. Nuances of soft peat on the nose blend with rich flavors of sweet toffee, with notes of fresh fruit, spice, oak and toffee notes, and sweet baked apple. A sweet and lingering finish. A tribute to the legacy of William Grant, founder of the distillery in 1886, who made Glenfiddich the world's best-selling single malt.

The name "Glenfiddich" comes from Gaelic, meaning Valley of the Deer, just a stone’s throw from Dufftown, in the heart of Speyside. It was here that William Grant fulfilled his dream of producing the finest dram of whisky in the valley. With the help of his entire family, he managed to build by hand, stone by stone, the distillery he envisioned, family-run since 1887.

Today, thanks to the vision of Charles Gordon, great-grandson of founder William Grant, single malt Scotch whisky has become increasingly recognized compared to the equally popular blended whisky. In 1988, single malt Scotch whisky was officially protected and regulated by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth through the Scotch Whisky Act, which defined the rules for the entire production process.
