Description
Still red from the Langhe DOC, 14.5% ABV, produced by Fratelli Alessandria. A blend of native Piedmontese grapes. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A wine born from the passion of a family that has been producing wine in Verduno, in the heart of the Langhe, for seven generations. The heart of the winery lies in the large 18th-century house with its simple yet majestic lines, located near the historic center of Verduno. Gian Battista, his wife Flavia, his brother Alessandro, and their son Vittore are the proud witnesses of the family's centuries-old tradition and passion for winemaking, representing the 7th and 8th generations of winemakers (the first 3 generations were known as Fratelli Dabbene and then Fratelli Alessandria following a marriage around 1870). The winery vinifies exclusively from estate-grown grapes and has maintained a family-run business. Fermentation and maceration: controlled temperature 29-31°C for 10-2 days. Aged for 12-4 months in French oak tonneaux (500 l), 2-3 months in steel and at least 2-3 months in bottle.

Gian Battista, his wife Flavia, brother Alessandro and son Vittore are the proud custodians of the family’s winemaking tradition and passion, which date back over a century, and represent the seventh and eighth generations of winemakers (the first three generations as Fratelli Dabbene and then as Fratelli Alessandria following a marriage which took place in around 1870).
The winery vinifies only estate grown grapes and has maintained a family dimension. These qualities make it possible to establish a direct and "personal" relationship with the individual vineyards and barrels, an invisible but important connection that we hope will reach and inspire consumers when they drink our wines.
