Description
Still white wine from Burgundy, 12% ABV, produced by Michel Arcelain. 100% Chardonnay, 2022 vintage. A wine born in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in Pommard, where the Arcelain family has been growing vines since 1889. Aged for 12 months in an ovoid concrete tank, known as an "egg," which creates perpetual movement of the lees during aging. Golden yellow in color. On the nose, aromas of fresh fruit pulp and fragrant flowers. On the palate, it reveals great elegance and minerality, with a harmony that lingers on a lovely finish.

In 1889, Jules Arcelain took over the family farm and modified the plots during the phylloxera crisis.
He replanted the famous grafted grape varieties:
- Pinot Noir
-Chardonnay
He then transmitted his know-how, his knowledge and his terroir to his son who in turn passed it on to his children. The plot has therefore evolved over time and generations.
Michel Arcelain and his wife Marie-Madeleine have then operated the domain for many years.
Today, the estate is operated by their grandson Pierre Fihman-Arcelain and his wife Charlotte. Read more
