Description
Still red wine from Salento, Puglia, 14% ABV, produced by D'Addario. Primitivo blend, 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine that embodies the strength and authenticity of Puglia, aged in French oak barriques for approximately 3-4 months. Poor, calcareous soils tending towards clay. Malolactic fermentation. The bouquet offers balsamic and fruity notes of cherry, morello cherry, and violet. Ruby red color with purple highlights. Spicy hints at the finish, particularly carob, are evident.
