Description

Antitesi is our new Rosé wine, whose evolution and ability to age are the result of our idea. After the winemaking process, it ages on the lees for 270 nights. It reaches a great balance between sapidity, a graceful softness and longevity. It reflects the gifted terroir of Valtènesi.

The strong relationship between the Avanzi family and their land led to the creation of the family business in 1931. This tradition all began when the founder, Giovanni Avanzi, obtained an excellent red wine from the grapes of the region of Lake Garda and the tradition has continued with his sons, Gianpietro and Alessandro. Today, the sons and grandchildren are keeping the tradition alive with the same passionate spirit, devotion, loving care and quality that have become synonymous with the name Avanzi.

For over eighty years we have been producing wines utilizing the highest quality grapes, grown here in the region of Lake Garda where we have more than 138 acres of vineyards and olive groves. Our proven passion for Garda and Lugana Wines has inspired us, generation after generation, to continuously seek improvement in all aspects of wine quality and wine production. In the family winery, the Avanzi family produces the most prestigious Garda wines, Lugana wines and sparkling wines. In the family oil-mill, with the same care and precision, we produce an outstanding and exquisite Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil. Wine making Groppello and Barbera grapes undergone two different winemaking process. Antitesi is produced for the biggest part with the pressing of the grapes by obtaining a very small yield in must (50%) and for a small part with the contact of the skin with the must. For this reason Antitesi acquires roundness, power and complexity.
Aging It ages on the lees for 270 nights.
