Argiano is a company that has become the symbol of Brunello. This winery can be considered one of the oldest in Montalcino, Siena, with its vines all around a Renaissance villa inhabited by popes and noble families with a wine vocation that began in the 16th century in the same place still in vogue today. The traditional Brunello is flanked by Solengo, a masterpiece of Giacomo Tachis and, in 2020, the winery's flagship, the Brunello di Montalcino Vigna del Suolo, from grapes from the oldest Sangiovese vineyard, planted in 1965.

The winery was purchased in the 1990s by Noemi Marone Cinzano. Then, billionaire Brazilian businessman André Santos Esteves took over the company in February 2013. Moreover, it has been the first plastic-free Montalcino company since 2019. The Argiano Carbon Neutral environmental sustainability project is currently underway, intending to capture all emissions from the production process.
