Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Aldo Conterno. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75 L bottle, 2015 vintage. A Barolo Gran Bussia Riserva that represents the pinnacle of Nebbiolo expression, a wine born from the passion and dedication of one of the most important families of the Langhe. Vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for up to 25-30 days, until the end of alcoholic fermentation. Aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for at least 40 months. Balsamic notes of undergrowth, leather, and humus are evident, along with aromas of pepper, nutmeg, and tobacco. A rather vivid garnet red color. The palate is dry, taut, and savory.
