Description
Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, a still white from Burgundy, 13% ABV, produced by Alain Geoffroy, 2021 vintage. A wine that expresses the quintessential Chardonnay, grown on calcareous marl soils rich in fossils. Vinification is strictly in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and, above all, the typical character of Chablis wines. On the nose, it evolves with purity and elegance. The sweetness and smoothness are pleasantly discovered through fresh notes of citrus, menthol, and fern, rounded out by gourmand notes of vanilla. Pale gold in color with greenish highlights. On the palate, it expresses power, delicacy, softness, and character against a distinctly mineral background.

Vinification is carried out strictly in steel tanks, to preserve the freshness but above all the typicality of Chablis wines, where each cru has its own peculiarity that can be perceived right from the nose and where even the smallest differences in terroir are reflected in the individual wines.
Chablis wines are fine and elegant, capable of ageing for many years and the Domaine de Beines, through the valuable work of Alain Geoffroy and his daughters Cathy and Nathalie, is a great interpreter of the tradition of this area of Burgundy. Read more
