Description
Classic method brut sparkling wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 12.5% ABV, produced by Abate Nero. 100% Chardonnay, 2018 vintage. A Trento DOC born of passion and patience, with a minimum of 60 months of aging on the lees for a fine and persistent perlage. Intense and refined aromas of ripe yellow fruit, candied citron, and baked apple give way over time to delightful notes of the complex evolution typical of Chardonnay. Intense straw yellow color with golden highlights. Smooth and balanced, ripe apple and candied citrus blend on the palate in a creamy and persistent embrace, accompanied by pleasant notes of toasted hazelnut and sweet almond.

Patience is at home here, the wine rests on the lees for frothing much longer than usual. Don't be surprised, therefore, if you find dates on the label that date back a few decades. Every stage is manual, for direct control of every single bottle: only in this way does Abate Nero achieve its charm. Read more
