Onder de Boompjes

The Onder de Boompjes distillery was founded in 1658 on the Schie river in Schiedam, right next to the Royal Dutch Distillers and the Nolet Distillery, where it is one of the few surviving distilleries among the more than 180 distilleries in the city, decimated by a ridiculous war on the lowest price. Today it is the oldest independent distillery in the Netherlands.
