The screw Drius family cultivates 15 hectares of land, from the verdant mountain overlooking Quarin Cormòns until the High Plains crossed the blue of the Soca River. Two areas devoted to DOC wines of surprising quality features for the perfect sun exposure and the ideal climate, protected by the high peaks of the Alps and mitigated by the nearby Adriatic breezes.
Two large land extraordinarily suited to viticulture, profoundly different from each other although contiguous, that Drius wines can best interpret. The rolling hills of the Collio are characterized by an alternation of sandstone and marl produce extraordinary white, dry and fragrant. The Doc Isonzo consists mainly of limestone and alluvial soils, from which spring refined white wines rich in freshness and flavor and full-bodied reds and tasty.
The two lines that overlap, holding up the name of the corporate brand Drius depict the very fact that, in their vineyards, the Collio and the Isonzo meet and, in their basement, find a perfect fusion.
