Noto is now famous for its extraordinary wines. Very fragrant, rich in persuasive notes of fruit and sea scrub, the samples produced here have that quid pluris in terms of sunshine that only these lands of Syracuse, bright and abundant in limestone, can give. The historic Tuscan family of the Marquises Mazzei has transferred its important oenological know-how to the area, investing in typical sapling plants that characterize the verdant landscape. 50 hectares of suitable land (21 per vineyard), which extend around the 3 beams of the estate from where the view is breathtaking on Noto and the surrounding citrus groves. Always pleasant the small sample, although missing more than one bishop are excellent white Azisa and red doc zonal, forged by the incomparable sun of this corner of Sicily.

Zisola 2020 Noto Rosso DOC has been included by the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator in the TOP 100 for the world's best wines of 2022. We are doubly proud of this splendid result, because the same wine was also included in the TOP 100 in 2015, thus confirming a Nero d'Avola of superior quality at an affordable price.
