From this winery
  • Start up year: 1860
La Maison Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in all of French Burgundy.

Founded in the second half of the nineteenth century, in 1860 to be precise, the winery was created by the hand of Zéphir Régnard, and above all is considered one of the most important Burgundian wineries, owning several plots of vineyards in the Mâconnais region. area further south of Burgundy, from which it derives those that can be considered as some of the best Chablis in the world. The heart of the fashion house is, however, to be identified with the appellation Pouilly Fuissé AOC, in whose territory is located what is the main operational center of the company, still rooted in the historic Clos du Pavillon, whose cellars go back to Eighteenth century, far 1755 to be exact.

Passed in 1984 in the hands of the De Ladoucette family, the maison, just after the change of ownership, has gone through an important period of recovery and restructuring, during which the castle and the vineyards have been restored, including seven plots they are classified as Grand Cru. In the vineyard, each work phase is aimed at respecting the environment, nature and ecosystem, and the vines are meticulously treated, so as to get to pick fine, concentrated and straightforward grapes.

In the cellar, using the most modern winemaking technologies and innovating the production processes without ever exceeding those that are the oldest territorial traditions, and above all always remaining in the wake of what over the centuries has established itself as the typical style of the cellar, they are wines produced for years renowned all over the world.

With labels characterized by great elegance and a wooden passage always punctually measured and calibrated to chisel, the most evident peculiarities of the single crus are never prevailed, and every smallest organoleptic nuance is enhanced in simply extraordinary wines.
