Description
Brut Champagne, 12.5% ABV, produced by Perrier Jouet. Blend: 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier. 0.75 L bottle, 2016 vintage. An iconic Champagne, the Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque 2016 is an explosion of elegance and sophistication. The early grape harvest, which took place in the last weeks of August, created a refined wine that achieved an ideal balance between vivacity and freshness. Aged for approximately five years in the Maison's cellars and featuring a moderate dosage (9g/L), Belle Epoque exudes elegance and sophistication. Citrus fruits—white peach, pear, and grapefruit—combine with pineapple and spring flowers, marzipan, and sweet spices to create a unique and delicate bouquet. Pale golden yellow with greenish highlights. The mouthfeel is markedly mineral but still round and silky, with an elegant and long persistence.
