Description
Organic still red wine from Etna DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Palmento Costanzo. Blend: 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio. 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A wine born from a passion for the land and a desire to showcase the volcano's unique characteristics. The grapes come from bush-trained vineyards on volcanic soils rich in black and brown sand. Fermentation occurs with selected indigenous yeasts and prolonged maceration in 500L French oak barrels. Aged for 24 months in 500L French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle. Deep and rich, with notes of red fruit, nuances of graphite, volcanic dust, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is enveloping, with velvety tannins, imposing and long, with a pleasantly savory finish.
