Description
A brut white from Lombardy, Franciacorta DOCG, produced by Moustache Noir. 100% Chardonnay. 0.75L bottle. A Franciacorta Satèn that celebrates the tradition and innovation of Franciacorta, with a unique identity and modern design. Moustache Noir is a small winery located in Cazzago San Martino, in the heart of Franciacorta. The name is a tribute to great-grandfather Lauro: his black mustache is a characteristic now inextricably linked to the Consolati family's identity, a distinctive trait chosen as its flagship. Grapes are selected during harvest. Soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. It is not a declared vintage, but no reserve wines are used, and all the production currently on the market comes from the 2018 vintage. Fine bubbles. On the palate, it has a touch of softness, a good body that will accompany the entire meal.

The name is a tribute to great-grandfather Lauro: his black moustache is a feature now inextricably linked to the identity of the Consolati family, a distinctive trait chosen as a flag. Lauro, who already owned a farm producing cereals and raising livestock, was the first to produce wine for home use, starting a tradition that has been handed down for four generations.
Today, it is Lauro's grandchildren and great-grandchildren who treasure their parents' valuable teachings and perseverance, increasing and renewing the experience and passion that has come down to them. Read more
