Description
Franciacorta pas dosé, produced in Lombardy, classic method, 12.5% vol. Marchiopolo offers the best of each terroir, vinifying only the finest vintages. It preserves and rediscovers native grape varieties, enhancing their character. It works from the land to the glass with the best experts in the field. Harvest time is late August. Partial cold maceration, soft pressing, thermoregulated fermentation. Secondary fermentation in the bottle using the classic method. Aged in stacked bottles for 46 months on the lees. Straw yellow-green in color, with good intensity. Rich in herbaceous and fruity notes mixed with the mellow aromas of the oven. Very dry but not harsh on the palate, it conveys the wine's entire evolutionary journey; it is smooth, balanced, and persistent.
