Description
Still organic white wine, 13.5% ABV, produced by Domaine de Silene in Languedoc-Roussillon, France, 2022 vintage. 100% Viognier. A wine born from the collaboration between Jean-Claude Mas and Giorgio Grai, with a breathtaking view of the Hérault Valley. Floral aromas on the nose, accompanied by notes of mango. On the palate, the wine is creamy, accompanied by spicy notes and mineral hints. A Viognier that expresses the essence of the French terroir, perfect for pairing with light, aromatic dishes.

Adjacent to Château Paul Mas, near the Cistercian abbey of Valmagne, you can admire a 360° view of the Hérault valley, the Mediterranean Sea, the Cévennes, the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees. The vines are surrounded by truffle oaks, an olive grove, all protected by pine forests and scrubland. Rural Luxury at its peak.
The name of Silène was born from the discovery of a rock in its very stony ground (Peyrals) which would have represented the head of Silène, the preceptor of Bacchus (Roman God corresponding to Dionysus in Greek mythology, the God of the vine). Read more
