What kind of wine it is
Vosne Romanée Les Chalandins by Domaine A.F. Gros is a still red wine that interprets the finesse of Pinot Noir with utmost elegance. In the glass, it displays a medium-intensity ruby red colour. The absence of filtration preserves the integrity of the material, offering a full, authentic sip with a decisive personality.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in France, in the heart of Burgundy, the homeland of Pinot Noir. It comes specifically from Vosne-Romanée, a region renowned for producing wines that combine grace and depth. The meticulous management of the vineyard allows the identity of the place to be transferred directly into the glass. The mention Les Chalandins identifies the exact origin of the grapes within Vosne-Romanée, emphasising the inseparable link with a unique and unmistakable terroir.
How it is produced
Made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, this red is vinified to enhance the purity of the variety. The decision not to filter the final product aims to maintain the wine’s original aromatic profile and structure. To appreciate every nuance, it is recommended to decant for about an hour and serve at a temperature between 16 and 18°C. Thanks to its solidity, the wine boasts an extraordinary ageing potential, allowing it to evolve elegantly in the cellar for up to fifteen years.

At 25 years old, Anne saw the family domaine grow from 3 to 6.5 ha. Recently, she invested in a new cellar. She is a winegrower suspicious of certitude and fastidious about maintaining her freedom.
As a female winegrower, Anne knew how to prove herself and convince all who doubted her ability to manage a domaine. She showed that she had not only the shoulders but the head to make her family heritage one of the greatest domaines of Burgundy.
In 1984 she had to stop studying Arts to study vines’culture and oenology in Beaune and Dijon. Now her passion for vine and wine as well as her talent, sensitivity and professionalism position her as a winemaker amateurs can rely on.
A mother of 3 children, Anne spends all her time working at the Domaine and taking care of her family. Read more
