Description
Still red from Burgundy, 13% ABV, produced by Chartron et Trebuchet. Made with 100% Pinot Noir, this wine embodies the elegance and complexity of the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir. Founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet, Chartron et Trébuchet quickly specialized in the vinification, aging, and bottling of fine wines. Vinification follows the traditional method. The grapes are pressed immediately upon arrival at the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks temperature-controlled at 18°C. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, followed by a minimum of 18 months of aging on the lees. Notes of hazelnut, coffee, and licorice on the nose pave the way for a rich, minerally palate.
