Description

The vineyard takes its name from the old woman who lived in the house adjacent to the vineyard. The lady was always dressed in black and there fore given the nickname “l’uselun” (big bird).

Giacomo Bologna began its relationship with Barbera in 1961 creating the Monella: the flagship wine, the hymn to joy and vitality, the will to live.
