Description

BiancaVigna Prosecco Rive di Ogliano is a sparkling wine made from the prized 100% Glera grapes grown in the Ogliano area, in the province of Treviso, Veneto. It has a straw yellow color and a very creamy, elegant, and persistent perlage. The BiancaVigna company extends over 30 hectares in the D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. zones located between Conegliano, Pieve di Soligo, and Valdobbiadene, an area that has always been renowned for the production of Prosecco. The winery grows its own grapes on the hills of Ogliano and Conegliano and uses a cutting-edge facility built with eco-sustainable materials to respect the land and minimize the environmental impact of both the cellars and the entire production cycle. BiancaVigna has obtained the "Valoritalia" certification for the marketing of Organic Prosecco. BiancaVigna Prosecco Rive di Ogliano requires clayey and calcareous soil. The white Glera grape variety is distinguished by its hazelnut-colored shoots and large, elongated bunches. Harvesting is carried out in September and is always done by hand. The winemaking process is delicate: soft pressing of the harvested grapes, static decantation, and fermentation at a stable and controlled temperature. The secondary fermentation for the secondary fermentation takes about four months and takes place in an autoclave on selected yeasts. BiancaVigna Prosecco Rive di Ogliano is aged in stainless steel tanks in contact with the fine lees. Bottle aging takes about three months, but sterile filtration is performed first.

We know every inch of the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene which are the places that give flavour and aroma to our wines. We firmly believe that by intimately perceiving and understanding the earth can we interpret a Conegliano Valdobbiadene high-quality Prosecco which is the symbol of our territory, of its aromas and flavours, but also of its history and its traditions.

BiancaVigna was founded here, in the D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. areas of the March of Treviso with its 30 hectare vineyard. This is BiancaVigna: values, innovative ideas and care of each single step with the ambition of making fine wines.
