Description
What type of wine is it
Banfi's Centine Toscana Bianco is an Indicazione Geografica Tipica white wine with a versatile and defined profile. It originates from a balanced blend where the structure of Chardonnay merges with the liveliness of Vermentino, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. The aromatic bouquet reveals hints of apricot, pear and grapefruit intertwined with citrus fruits and floral nuances, complemented by a subtle herbaceous touch. On the palate, it is full and soft, enhanced by a savoury and persistent finish that gives the drinking experience great dynamism. Fermentation and ageing take place in steel.
How it is produced
Production involves a soft pressing of the grapes, followed by the separate fermentation of each variety in temperature-controlled steel vats. The wine then matures for about two months in contact with the fine lees, a technique chosen to increase its volume and roundness. The final result is a white wine with a lively and refreshing acidity, ideal for pairing with fish-based dishes, seafood, salads and vegetarian recipes.
