In the years 70, my father, retire and buy this farm as a small investment, but above all as a place of rest and quiet, where withdraw at weekends and during the summer.
This is the "big house", as in the tradition and culture of our land, one where the whole family gets together on several occasions: children, daughters, brothers-in-law and all the grandchildren arrived in the years. This is the place for birthdays, game, of the first parties adolescent, New Years with the fireplace and the polenta, chestnuts… threads, This is the place of life.
Here my father died in 1991, leaving me the great opportunity to realize my studies and my professional experience as an enologist.

Not an easy choice, but driven by passion and an ideal that has stayed with me over the years, where life made sense marked by the natural rhythm of time and seasons, when consumerism and globalization can be uncomfortable echoes of a conscious, but far, and where the work is to a relationship with the product that gives meaning to the work itself.
The path was not easy or immediate, but has matured through the study plan, research and knowledge…. and never ends. Was formed in those years a new consciousness linked to small producers, quality, to the peculiarities of a territory: not the mass-produced, but the differences are the wealth of a region and its people. Check the possibilities offered by my company, analysis of the soil exposure, altitude, and all the rest, I decided that it was possible. Today the vineyards make 10 age: grew well, give a very balanced and high quality, I am proud of them!
Today the company has a new face, there are other children and other grandparents, my in-laws. Their contribution in various forms has been and is fundamental…. here everything was back to running, from the roof to the basement…. Today the garden, the chestnuts and berries enjoying new attention and we all enjoy the fruits of their.
"The big house" has a future and welcome new grandchildren and friends and still have a long life.
