Himmelreich

The farm name 'Himmelreich-Hof' first appears in a document from 1590. Here, the cultivation of wine for personal consumption is a centuries-old tradition. Since 2000, quality wine has been produced and marketed. Thanks to its location, the Vinschgau Sunshine Mountain enjoys 250 days of sunshine a year. The low rainfall that characterises the western region of South Tyrol and the mineral-rich soil (glacial and moraine sediments) are prerequisites for a wine production of great interest and value.

Intensive manual labour in the vineyard and cellar is aimed at preserving the quality of the ripe grapes in the vineyard. Overall, our prerogative is to produce wines that are genuine, straightforward and full of character.
