In Burgundy, the concept of clos is very old, the first clos appearing in the 7th century. Initially of religious influence, these stone walls multiplied in the 19th century: they made it possible to retain the soil but also gave a real personality to each Burgundy estate. A Closerie is a small clos, a small property surrounded by walls or hedges.
The Closerie des Alisiers wines represent a range of Burgundy wines, produced almost exclusively from Pinot Noir grape for red wines and Chardonnay grape for white wines (a few aligotés also complete the range). These wines present the complexity and authenticity of Burgundy wines.
The blends are chosen by our team who also coordinates all the bottling. This allows us to be autonomous and agile to meet the needs of our customers: formats, bottles, labels, etc.
Closerie des Alisiers wines are very regularly selected at international competitions (Burgondia, Feminalise,, Decanter, etc.), by critics (Bettane & Desseauve, Whine Enthusiast, Jancis Robinson, etc.) and in the press (Guide Hachette, Revue des Wines of France, Burgundy Today, Gilbert & Gaillard, etc.).
