The origins of Castelo de Pedregosa are the story told by hands weathered by time, eyes that have grown accustomed to the darkness underground, and feet that tread the land that saw the birth of our wines. Everything else is just history. The memory of the Portell garage, where Mari Carmen Castelo and Bartolomé Pedregosa made their first bottle of cava in the late 1980s, is a moving, endearing story. It is a patchwork of re-discovered feelings that accompany the photographs which speak of those early years of the Pedregosa Castelo family.
