Description
Still white wine from Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13.5% ABV, produced by Venica. Blend: 50% Friulano/Sauvignon Vert, 30% Chardonnay, 20% Sauvignon. 0.75 L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine that celebrates the blend of three grape varieties, united in a unique expression of the Friulian terroir. Maceration of the three grapes occurs simultaneously, as it is a blend. The must ferments and ages on the lees in 5 HL tonneaux (50%) and the remainder in 30 HL steel tanks. The aromas range from the bitter almond of the Friulano, the banana of the Chardonnay, and the pepper of the Sauvignon, offering freshness, territoriality, and a harmonious bouquet of fruity and vegetal notes. Light vanilla and smoky nuances are also present. Deep and brilliant golden color. On the palate, the structure is high, the body is full, the sip is fruity, fat and soft, slightly creamy and persistent, with a prolonged finish on toasted notes, on the tomato leaf of the Sauvignon and the bitter almond of the Friulano.
