Description
A still white wine from Campania, Irpinia DOC, 13% ABV, produced by Tenuta Cavalier Pepe. 100% Falanghina, 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine that celebrates Falanghina, the iconic grape of Irpinia, with the passion of the Pepe family, named Knight of the Italian Republic for their merits. The grapes come from vineyards on the hills of Luogosano and S. Angelo all’Esca. Crystalline, straw yellow. On the nose, it is intense, with fruity notes: pineapple, banana, apple, and pear juice, against a light background of white flowers. With a strong impact and good acidity, it leaves the mouth fresh and flavorful with a pleasantly lingering aftertaste reminiscent of green apple and banana.
