Description
Still white wine from Liguria, 13.5% ABV, produced by Tenuta Selvadolce. 100% Vermentino, 2021 vintage. A wine born from a passion for biodynamics, overlooking the sea of far western Liguria. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maceration on the skins: yes. Aged on fine lees. Notes of pine needles on the nose, accompanied by notes of Mediterranean scrub. Intense golden yellow. On the palate, the wine is fresh, savory, and enveloping, a true sensory journey through the aromas and flavors of Liguria.

I had no idea what biodynamics was, but the name intrigued me. Among the various courses offered by the association, I found one that talked about viticulture, and since the family farm had a beautiful vineyard, I decided to take it. Read more
