Description
Salento IGT still red wine, 14% ABV, produced by Produttori di Manduria. 100% Susumaniello, 0.75 l bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine born from the passion of Manduria's producers, custodians of a unique territory and a native grape variety, Susumaniello. Produced with grapes harvested by hand in the last ten days of September, alcoholic fermentation takes place at temperatures no higher than 25°C, followed by aging for 6 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. On the nose, abundant red fruit—plums, mulberries, and blackberries—blend with floral notes that intertwine with the spicy notes acquired through aging in wood. An intense ruby red color, dense and almost impenetrable to light. Its concentration is once again evident on the palate. Fresh and enveloping on the palate thanks to a composed and velvety tannic structure. The entire olfactory spectrum is fully expressed in the long and persistent finish.
