Description
Still red Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Sassetti Livio Pertimali, 2007 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family that has been producing wine in Montalcino for over three generations. The Pertimali estate and its 16 hectares of vineyards are located in the Montosoli area, north of Montalcino, an area particularly suited to growing Sangiovese. 100% Sangiovese Grosso. Aromas of ripe red fruit blended well with spicy and balsamic notes. Intense ruby red. Very elegant on the palate with pleasant, soft tannins. Very persistent, and the same notes immediately perceived on the nose return on the palate.
