Description
Marsala Superiore Oro Dolce Bip Benjamin Riserva 2013, 18% ABV, produced by Pellegrino in Sicily. 0.75L bottle. A Marsala that celebrates the history of the Pellegrino family, who have been growing the finest Sicilian grapes since 1880. Fermentation is arrested by adding brandy aged for at least five years in oak barrels. Aged for over 48 months in 80- and 50-hl oak barrels, with at least six months in barrique. Ethereal, with intense aromas of melon and subtle notes of honey and medlar. Deep gold with amber reflections. Sweet and persistent, with distinct notes of apricot and baked pear.
