Description
Still red wine from Etna DOC, Sicily, 12.5% ABV, produced by Palmento Costanzo. Blend: 80% Nerello Mascalese, 20% Nerello Cappuccio. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A red that expresses the power of the volcano through the savory and minerality of its native grape varieties. Fermentation in stainless steel with selected indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is carried out entirely. Aged 50% for 12 months in stainless steel and 50% for 12 months in 50-hl oak barrels. 12 months in bottle. Bouquet with clear notes of red fruits and a light spice accompanied by hints of volcanic ash. Pale ruby red color. On the palate it is fresh with sweet tannins and a savory finish, a wine that tells the story of a unique territory.
